Toho se vyu\u017e\u00edv\u00e1 u zateplov\u00e1n\u00ed z\u00e1klad\u016f staveb, sklepen\u00ed, podzemn\u00edch baz\u00e9n\u016f a na dal\u0161\u00edch m\u00edstech, kter\u00e1 jsou vystavena tlaku podlo\u017e\u00ed a zeminy. U z\u00e1kladov\u00fdch desek je instalace extrudovan\u00e9ho polystyrenu samoz\u0159ejm\u011b podm\u00edn\u011bna dal\u0161\u00ed n\u00e1\u0161lapnou vrstvou.V\u00fdrobky z\u00a0extrudovan\u00e9ho polystyrenu jsou odoln\u00e9 v\u016f\u010di p\u016fsoben\u00ed pl\u00edsn\u00ed, vlhkosti, a dokonce odolaj\u00ed i hlodavc\u016fm a v\u0161em druh\u016fm hmyzu. T\u011bchto vlastnost\u00ed stavitel\u00e9 vyu\u017eij\u00ed hlavn\u011b p\u0159i tepeln\u00e9 izolaci spodn\u00edch \u010d\u00e1st\u00ed staveb, a to i pod \u00farovn\u00ed ter\u00e9nu. T\u00e9m\u011b\u0159 \u017e\u00e1dn\u00fd materi\u00e1l dnes vyr\u00e1b\u011bn\u00fd nedok\u00e1\u017ee odolat t\u011bmto vliv\u016fm, kdy\u017e je zakopan\u00fd pod zem\u00ed. Polystyren ano.
